Cycling Tour Offers All You Can Eat Gelato Tour of Italy

ARLINGTON, Mass. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You cycle, I cycle, we all cycle for ice cream?

Yep, if it’s the delicious, sophisticated style of Italian ice cream called gelato.

Now, a New England travel company is offering the Giro de gelato, which is basically an all you can eat ice cream bicycle tour of Italian ice cream hotspots like Venice, Florence, and Revenna.

Besides sampling the gelato, vacationers will see how it’s made and keep a “gelato journal” of the whole experience.

At the end of the journey, the gelato-loving bikers will choose the overall favorite flavor.

Joseph Luchison, who is helping to get the ice cream tour running, claims it’s not politically incorrect to offer this sort of all you can eat tour.

In his words, “Everyone can enjoy this sort of indulgence, because you’re exercising – it’s such a great way to keep cool in the hot Italian summer.”

The tour starts in August and costs a whopping $4000. Luckily, there’s no extra cost for extra gelato.
