What A Difference A Year Makes For Little Big Town

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The Academy Of Country Music Awards take place tomorrow (May 23) and it’s a big deal to all the nominated artists but, especially, Little Big Town.

That’s because it marks the end to a very extreme year for the band’s members, who endured deaths and divorces at the same time they rose up the country charts with hits like “Boondocks.”

Singer Kimberly Roads, who lost her husband last April, admits the past year has provided perfect fodder for a country song.

In her words, “We wrote the songs on our new album, Road To Here, as therapy. We’d laugh, cry and be angry and put it in our music.”

Little Big Town will sing “Boondocks” on the live broadcast and Roads admits she and bandmate Karen Fairchild are still trying to figure out their outfits and are “worrying and shopping.”
