Bill Rancic: ‘Kids Today Are All Business’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Kids today are all business. Just ask former Apprentice winner Bill Rancic.

He’s been touring high schools nationwide as part of a national charitable campaign being sponsored by Ace Hardware and he’s impressed with how the teens he’s meeting are giving him the business.

As he puts it, “They want to know how to start a business and one kid who already had a successful business refurbishing bikes asked me questions about marketing.”

Rancic – who is a regular on The Apprentice – was surprised at the interest towards business, especially because he says today’s teens have “a lot of pressure trying to get in the right school, play the right sports and they’re afraid to fail.”

The campaign gives kids guidance in all areas – including starting a business – but admits there’s one piece of advice he wishes he had learned when he was young.

In his words, “As a business owner, you keep pushing and pushing and don’t always enjoy what you’ve done. You need to learn to appreciate things as they’re happening.”
