Vitamin B is probably the best preventive chaser for those who down large quantities of beer, whether its chugging down a beer bong or bellying up to the bar.
So says Tracy Erfling, a naturopathic doctor in Astoria, Oregon, who will be lecturing on The Healthy Brewer at the Craft Brewers Conference, which starts April 11 in Seattle, Washington.
You can forget a lot of things after drinking beer but she says if you remember one thing while boozing it up, its taking vitamin B before, during and afterwards.
She says its not only ``one of the best preventive measures big beer-swillers can take to protect their suds- soaked livers but it also prevents hangovers.
However, she also suggests laying off the fried foods that are the staple of many bar menus and feast on vegetarian dishes instead.
