Phone Sex Operators Come Up With Code Of Ethics

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A few phone sex operators are now calling for a code of ethics.

An organization of phone sex operators called “Ethical OPS” has just come up with the first ever ethics guide for the industry, and one of the founding members – who goes by the name “Alexa” – believes it will help independent PSOs “operate honest, ethical internet businesses.”

Alexa says the code was created, in part, because some PSOs were taking copyrighted graphics, images and texts from other websites, “either knowingly or unknowingly.”

She also says the code protects customers by letting them know how a transaction is billed and how it will show up on a credit card statement.

Alexa says the code also encourages “full and honest advertising” because customers have a right to know if they’re getting screwed – as in if the operator looks like the man or woman featured in their ads.

Alexa is hoping that Ethical OPS becomes the phone sex industry’s equivalent of the Better Business Bureau and that membership will be sort of like a porn version of the Good Housekeeping seal of approval.
