Vice Presidents’ Day A No Go

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – First Vice President Dick Cheney shot his friend. Now a vice presidential historian is shooting down the possibilities of a Vice Presidents’ Day.

That’s because, according to Dan Coen, the operator of, “There’s little interest in them.”

He says, “It’s amazing how little interest there is in the second string.”

But here’s a shocker: Coen who runs the tribute site to V.P.s doesn’t think there should be a Vice Presidents’ Day.

He says the idea sounds cute and fun, but he admits, “the office doesn’t have influence in the country,” although he says it has behind-the-scenes influence.

On Presidents’ Day, he says his site provides a list of vice presidents who have moved on up to the Oval Office, and even then he admits it won’t generate much interest.

In Coen’s words, “We get big when Dick Cheney gets a heart palpitation.”
