Hemp Entrepreneur May Have The Solution To America’s Addiction To Oil

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A marijuana activist and entrepreneur thinks America’s supposed addiction to oil can be remedied with just four little letters: H-E-M-P.

Craig X Rubin is co-founder of Homeland Entrepreneurial Marijuana Project (HEMP) Inc., and says environmentally-friendly fuel – i.e. fuel from hemp – is a billion dollar industry that will help the U.S. kick the foreign oil habit.

He explains, “We could be growing that fuel. We could never grow as much as the oil, but what we CAN do is stop using so much by growing some weed and turning the weed into some gas!”

Rubin says marijuana could become America’s “No. 1 cash crop” and using hemp fuel may even counteract terrorism.

In his words, “It was Rush Limbaugh who said something like, ‘Every time you put gas in your car, you’re supporting terrorism.’ Every time we buy fuel made from hemp, we support American farmers.”

George W. Bush may already be on board. Just yesterday (Feb. 01) in a speech he said we’re close to making “ethanol from other forms, other materials, like grasses...”
