Piece Of Al Capone History Up For Sale

RICHMOND, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A Richmond, Illinois, businessman is selling a piece of Al Capone history in the form of a piece of the mob boss’ headquarters.

Nino Cruz, owner of PJ’s Magic Shop, is selling a one- inch chunk of the Lexington Hotel Headquarters which was salvaged after the hotel was demolished in 1995.

The piece comes with a certificate of authenticity and a copy of Capone’s death certificate.

Cruz says he’s selling the chunk now because he’s hoping to capitalize on Valentine’s Day since Capone is well-known for orchestrating the Valentine’s Day Massacre in Chicago.

He obtained the piece of the building from a friend who is making a television documentary revealing Capone’s altruistic side in addition to his criminal record.

Cruz wants folks to know Capone did good things like serving soup at soup kitchens, and whenever Capone had a shoot out in a restaurant, he’d return to apologize and give the owner cash to recoup his losses.

The chunk can be purchased at pjstrickshop.com
