Family Publishes 142-Page Christmas Newsletter

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Do you get bored reading a Christmas family newsletter after the third page? Well, one family has written what could be the world’s longest newsletter.

The Hughes family of Santa Clara, California, has put together a 142-page newsletter which can be printed as a full-color book and purchased for $30 using the publish-on-demand website, Lulu.com.

Doug Hughes, an employee communications manager at Lockhead Martin is the author of the lengthy letter which covers what’s new with his family in 2005, but also takes a retrospective look at his wife, Diane, and their 25th wedding anniversary.

The book is still growing as Christmas draws near. Mr. Hughes says he added a few more pages when his daughter was rushed to the hospital a few days ago for an appendectomy.

Hughes has been asked what he’ll do to top it next year, and he says he’s considering a video.
