Ghost Hunter Wants To Help Darkness Singer See The Light About Spooks

NEWCASTLE, England (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A top British rock star is being plagued by ghosts, but a ghost expert in Newcastle, England, hopes to raise his spirits.

Justin Hawkins, the lead singer of The Darkness, recently griped to the British press that his London house is haunted by a ghost in a white dress who goes around slamming doors.

Hawkins says he’s told the ghost, “If we’ve done something to p you off you only have to say,” but, so far, there’s no response.

Ghostbuster Dean Maynard thinks the rocker’s coarse language and tendency to play loud music is enough to raise the dead and suspects the woman is “from a semi-Victorian era.”

Maynard says the spook might be trying to make contact with Hawkins but, as he puts it, “Clearly he’s baiting the ghost and that could make it angry. If he’s more welcoming, he might get more of a reaction.”

Although Maynard is willing to help Hawkins root out the problem poltergeist, he says the singer will have to watch his language and play quieter music in the house.
