Grown-Ups Catching Robot Fever

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A New York man who recently opened a robot store is revealing his hard-wired wares are not just for kids.

David Greenbaum, owner of Robot Village, admits “The average height of the clientele is about three feet tall,” but insists the store is just as much for adults.

Robot Village carries items like robot kits, toys and security systems, but the shop is becoming more and more popular for its robot parties featuring a chance to build your own robot and play with a Soccer Bot and an interactive R2-D2.

Now, Greenbaum insists, “Some older kids, you know, 35, 27, want to have a robot party” and he says he’ll happily oblige. Not only that, he jokes, “Maybe I will put my silver stretch pants on.”

Big kids are so into bots that Greenbaum thinks they also might want to hook up at a Robot Village singles night he’s working on.

Until then, he says, “I have to build a robot to date because I have no time to go out.”
