Peeping On The Rise During Holiday Season

TEMECULA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A spy camera detection agency is expecting peeping Toms and scam artists to get their jollies this holiday season.

Randall Mitchum, owner of Peep Sweep LLC, says perverts hiding cameras in mall restrooms and dressing rooms are likely to be on the rise around the holidays because the price and the size of cameras have come down dramatically.

Smutty shutterbugs can simply sit at the front of a store as a wireless handheld device collects the images.

Mitchum also believes that scam artists will be able to walk into a department store, drop a camera on the dressing room floor, scream and file phony lawsuits against the store claiming they were the victim of a pervert.

He figures it will be hard for stores to defend themselves in court because, as he says, “Is the smoking gun the camera or the image?”

Mitchum recommends retailers train their employees to look for hidden cameras, use handheld devices which can detect the presence of cameras and hire detection companies, like his, to sweep potential hot spots.
