Despite Reality Show, Warren Brothers Still On Fringes Of Fame

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You think having a reality show will make you famous? The reality is that it’s not always the case.

For instance, country singers Brad and Brett Warren have a reality show, Barely Famous: The Warren Brothers, that starts its second season on CMT Friday (Aug. 5) but, despite that, the duo is no closer to fame than when they started.

No wonder the brothers consider themselves the “Spinal Tap of country music.” As Brad Warren puts it, “We quote lines from that movie all the time because our lives are just like that.”

For instance, the brothers once played at a skating rink and during the set, the kids were let out on the rink and allowed to skate over the band’s electrical cords and between them and the drummer.

Then there was the concert where fans were allowed to bring their horses. As Brad puts it, “There was one guy in the audience sitting on a burro so it was in his honor that we played ‘Beast Of Burden.’”

Things could be looking up for the Warren Brothers though. Besides the reality show, they are the opening act for Brooks & Dunn starting Saturday (Aug. 6) in Dallas.
