This Pooh Bear Prefers Limp Bizkit to ‘Hunny’

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One 20-year-old kid from New York is a real character when he goes to rock concerts – literally.

Greg Rothberg – a.k.a. Pooh Bear – has worn a fuzzy yellow and red Winnie the Pooh costume to shows since he was 17 because, he says, “There’s nothing better to do.”

Rothberg says he first wore the Pooh suit to a friend’s gig for laughs. The reception was so good, he decided to wear the outfit to every concert.

The Staten Island native has rocked out at more than 500 shows dressed as Pooh. He admits the costume is a sweaty mess afterwards, but luckily, “Mom washes it.”

Rothberg says his ultimate Pooh experience was going to see his favorite band Limp Bizkit perform.

In addition to his regular Pooh get-up, Rothberg had a cast on each arm. The reason: He had broken his arms in the mosh pit at another Bizkit concert the week before.

It was all worth it, though. Rothberg ended up being pulled on-stage by singer Fred Durst.
