Pervy Patents Make A Big Spot Of Invention Registries

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The most erotic place in America may be the headquarters for the U.S. Patent Office.

At least that’s how it seems to Richard Ross, who combed through the invention archives looking for pervy patents for a new book, Patently Erotic (Plume).

Ross found a surprisingly large number of sexually-oriented patents and wonders if they were created by necessity “...or greed.”

Some of the devices Ross discovered include...

  • The “lap dance liner,” a combination pouch and underwear pant that a guy wears during a lap dance to “facilitate sexual activity.”

  • A female panty condom so women can have sex without taking off their undies.

  • Finally, there’s the vibrator that attaches to a man’s chin.

Although sex toy inventors come in all types, Ross says they are all optimists. In fact, all of the inventors mentioned in the book are convinced its publication will inspire interest in their erotic products.
