The Miami Heat center says the rigors of an 82-game regular season and roughly two-month playoff run have left him really tired and he says all he wants to do now is recharge.
Mourning says he hasnt picked up a basketball since the Heats season ended three weeks ago and doesnt plan to for a while.
Still, that doesnt mean hell spend the whole summer as a couch potato downing daiquiris and margaritas.
He says hell do yoga, take cycling classes and most importantly, spend time raising awareness about chronic kidney disease something that nearly derailed his career when he was diagnosed with it five years ago
Mourning is urging others to get checked by their doctor for the life-threatening disease.
