Thats the news from CNN anchor Paula Zahn, who admits that summer is often the slowest time of the year for news unless theres a political campaign or a new celebrity scandal.
For instance, she spent last night talking with army experts about Saddam Husseins fondness for Cheetos and Doritos.
That may not be breaking news but Zahn says she and her CNN staff use the summer months to be more creative.
She also uses the time in other ways, such as her latest gig, hosting the 30th Annual Gracie Awards, which take place today (Jun. 21) in New York, honoring radio and TV programming made by women.
Zahn wont just be the emcee. She is also receiving an award for an interview she did with Carmen Bin Laden, the former sister-in-law of Osama bin Laden.
