Restroom Beer Holder Keeps Suds Off Urine-Soaked Floors, Urinals

NEWTOWN, Pa. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Putting a beer down on a soppy urinal or toilet tank is enough to make you feel pissy, but now that can be prevented thanks to a new invention.

The so-called Wall-Mounted Restroom Beverage Holder is designed to keep suds off wet, unsanitary bathroom fixtures in public restrooms where they can sometimes fall, creating a dangerous and slippery mixture of beer and urine.

Although the mounted cup holder doesn’t hit the market until September, product inventor Scott Coren says he’s already gotten orders from bars and restaurants and has received inquiries from sporting venues like Los Angeles’ Staples Center – where broken beer bottles and spilled drinks are common sights in the bathrooms.

Coren claims there’s “no other product like it on the market” and figures stadium parking lot port-a-pottys may be the best place for the holders because “no one wants to set their drink down in those things.”
