Kathy Hilton Insists There’s More To Paris Than Meets The Eye

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Paris Hilton’s mother is hosting her own reality show, I Wanna Be A Hilton, but she may want to hire new writers.

The show features Kathy Hilton teaching the dos and don’ts of high society to 14 average Americans, but insiders report that one of the writers on the show has said that he hopes she does a better job with the contestants “than she has with Paris or Nicky.”

Hilton insists her daughters are getting bad raps and that they’re the kindest people she knows. In fact, she says Paris’ ditzy behavior is simply “acting.”

In her words, “Perception is not always reality. I tell my girls never to believe their own press – even the positive stuff.”

The winning pseudo-socialite will win a free apartment for a year as well as a $200,000 trust fund but despite the show’s title, Hilton says she isn’t using the show to replace her daughters with more respectable offspring.

I Wanna Be A Hilton debuts June 21.
