Fear Factor Live Couple Goes Down In Flames

ORLANDO, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Would you pay $1000 to dangle from a three-story drop, or to toss squid into a bucket while swinging from a rope? One couple did, and they want more.

Stacey and Eric Knox, from Fort Morgan, Colorado, paid $1125 in an eBay auction earlier this year to be one of the first people to participate in the live events at Universal Orlando’s Fear Factor Live ride, which is based on the Fear Factor TV show.

The couple went down in flames, but say it was worth it. Fortunately, the price they paid also covered a four day round- trip ticket to the park besides just participating in the stunt.

But the two say they would definitely do it again, and they may get that chance. The Knoxs say the live event was also an audition for them to appear on the TV show.

However, hubby Eric was relieved they didn’t have to eat anything. He says, “Nobody wants to stick something alive in their mouth.”

In the end, it was Dean and Ashley Molina, the Fear Factor Couples Champions from this past season, who won the live event.
