Bowsers Belly Up To The Bar At ‘Pug Crawl’

PORTLAND, Ore. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Beer and bowsers will be the cocktail of the day when Portland, Oregon, celebrates its annual “Pug Crawl” this Sunday (May 22).

The event – believed to be the biggest gathering of Pugs in the world – brings hundreds of pooches and their owners together in the parking lot of a brewery to swill beer and sniff butts.

Guess which participants will be the swillers and which will be the sniffers?

Pug Crawl organizer Craig Olson expects more than 1500 people and 600 Pugs to turn out for highlights like a Pug Kissing Booth where licks go for $1 and a superhero costume contest where some competitors have spent months sewing duds for their dogs.

Brewers have concocted a special beer for the Humane Society fundraiser and Olson expects the so-called “Pug Porter” to be sampled by both humans and canines.

In his words, “Pugs do like beer!”
