Modern Miami Vicers Live Out Dream At Luxury Hotel

MIAMI (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s been 15 years since Miami Vice stars Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas parked the Ferrari for good, but now a Miami hotel is letting fans walk in their heroes’ espadrille-wearing footsteps.

Beginning June 1, the Bentley Beach Hotel is offering a three- day package that lets guests live like the razor-stubbled cops for a mere $18,000.

The so-called “Modern Miami Vice Package includes, among other things, a three-day rental for Ferrari 30 Modena Spider; a men’s haircut by a trendy hairstylist in South Beach and the first season of Miami Vice on DVD.

Some things aren’t included in the package. For instance, guests don’t have to worry about surprise appearances from Elvis the crocodile.

Hotel spokesman Mike Hicks says there haven’t been any takers yet, but that could change because Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx are in town to shoot the movie remake of the show and, in his words, “the city is abuzz.”
