TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Classic cars really
get their owners engines revving, if a new poll of car
enthusiasts is any indication.
Put A Little Love In Your Car
According to the Love in the Fast Lane survey by
Hagerty Insurance, a whopping 60 percent of vintage gearheads
admit they spent more money on their car last year than they did
on their significant other.
Not only that, but 62 percent talk to their four-wheeled
baby on a regular basis.
42 percent have given their classic auto a name.
29 percent bought a Valentines Day gift for their
wheels last year, and, of those, 57 percent shucked out more than
$250 on the presents.
Finally, 259 of the classic car owners say their car
reminds them of Steve McQueen, 154 see similarities
between their ride and James Dean and 89 think their car
looks like Marilyn Monroe.
