PORTLAND, Ore. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – That old vibrator collecting dust in your dresser drawer has a much deeper purpose to fulfill.Online sex shop ScarletGirl.com is doing their part for the planet through their “Sex Toy Recycling Program.”
When an old vibrator loses its buzz or dildos are no longer in demand, people can send their toys – cleaned and disinfected – to Scarlet Girl headquarters and they’ll make sure they’re disposed of in an eco-friendly manner.
Spokesperson Vicki Kriner says the sex shop simply wanted to “offer a solution” to those who have more unused toys than they know what to do with.
So far, she’s gotten many thank you notes from grateful self-pleasurers.
Recyclers get a $10 credit on the website to buy new, fresh replacement toys regardless of how many they give up, including one person who sent a huge box filled to the brim with kinky used goods.
