Washington Museum One Of A Kind

SPOKANE, Wash. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One museum takes pride in truly being one of a kind.

Marvin Carr’s “One Of A Kind In The World Museum” makes a big effort to be original by only displaying incredibly rare items, such as Jackie Gleason’s old limo, stuffed squirrels riding a miniature fire truck with a sign reading “Hurry: Nuts On Fire!,” and the largest taxidermied black bear in the world.

Carr cashed in his stocks and took the money he made on Wall Street to open up the wacky museum because, “I like the unusual, the magnificent, and the beautiful.”

He “mixes everything up” in his warehouse of weird and keeps adding any strange stuff he comes across.

And he doesn’t just buy oddball memorabilia, he makes it too.

On display is his hand-made “frog band,” a mini stage show featuring frantically dancing frogs crooning “Frankie and Johnny.”
