`Psych' Star Fantasizes About David Bowie

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Psych star James Roday’s ultimate pop culture fantasy involves David Bowie and a weird costume.

Roday – who plays a quirky cop on the TV series riddled with pop culture references – desperately wants David Bowie to remake the Psych theme song.

They already got Boys II Men to sing their own version of it earlier this season, and Roday thinks a Bowie cover should be next.

While any pop culture icon would do, Roday wants Bowie for purely “selfish” reasons.

He considers the singer “God” and dreams of hanging out with him on set fully decked out in his costume from Labyrinth.

Roday would also want Alvin And The Chipmunks to remake the show’s song in their squeaky rodent voices and The Smiths to reunite for a minute just to sing the Psych theme.

The fourth season of Psych is now airing Wednesdays on USA.
