Hairstylists Get Claws Out
Valentino shows off his Clawz cutters

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) The claws are coming out and hairstylists are giving cuts a la Edward Scissorhands. The Clawz are the newest tool for coiffing hair.
Hairdressers slip individual, razor-sharp blades on each fingertip and are able to comb and cut through a persons hair just like Edward Scissorhands, creating wispy chunks, layers, and spikes better than traditional scissors and at a much faster pace.
Creator and hairstylist Valentino LoSauro used his background as a classically trained pianist as inspiration for that light fingered touch.
He adds, The Clawz were born as a simple idea to bring musicality to hairstyling.
When giving someone the chop with The Clawz, he imagines classical tunes playing. He even calls one method of cutting Flight of the Bumblebee as an homage to the classical tune and the frantic, fast-paced way he cuts hair.
He hopes his invention teaches stylists to design rather than just cut.
