BERNICIA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Getting into a bit of hocus pocus can actually be kind of fun.Witchcraft isn’t all smokey cauldrons, and the Pagan Alliance wants adults and kids to learn the real deal about Paganism with the Witches Ball, happening this Saturday (Mar. 6) in Bernicia, California.
The event is geared towards teaching kids about the alternative religion through happy singing, dancing around in a circle, and even their very own mini tarot card readings.
Spokesperson Johanna White says tarot readings give parents and kids insight into their lives and makes them more self-aware.
By seeing the lighter, fun side of Paganism, parents and their kids might become interested in converting into real life practicing witches.
She doesn’t think recruiting kids will be too tough since they already believe “everything is alive,” which is the biggest principal of witchcraft.
