Bowling: The Sport Of Chubby Champions

Thursday, February 4, 2010 17:20 GMT

ARLINGTON, Texas (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You don’t have to be in top physical condition to be a champion bowler.

The International Bowling Campus is now open in Arlington, Texas, honoring former greats of the sport and molding future champions with their International Training and Research Center.

At the Olympic-certified training facility, bowlers will learn all the tricks and techniques to become lord of the lanes, which spokesperson Stu Upson says will help “usher in a thrilling new era for bowling.”

State of the art equipment, like an robotic ball thrower, computerized ball tracking system, and biomechanic machines that analyze ball movement, will help build a better bowler.

Luckily, no rigorous diet or exercise is necessary at the training center since bowling is not a fit man’s sport.

Upson admits that the physical training isn’t too great, evident by the beer bellies found on many big time bowlers.
