McDonald’s Makes People Crazy?

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – “Mac attacks” are driving people insane.

Lately, videos of people freaking out at fast food joints like McDonald’s have hit the Internet, with customers attacking employees and destroying property all over fried food.

Psychologist Dr. Mark Goulston says the combination of being hungry, in a rush, and angered by something in their personal life can turn an innocent trip to Mickey D’s into a rage explosion.

It probably doesn’t help that fast food chains are in the business of providing snacks that people can’t live without.

Goulston explains, “Fast food gives people quick fixes. It’s like an addiction. The food is incredibly tasty, and people just gotta have more.”

“Seductive” billboard ads featuring juicy hamburgers also lead to fast food freakouts.

Goulston explains, “They say, ‘If the world is taking a bite out of you, take a bite of this and you’ll feel better.’ That’s why people get hooked.”
