‘It’s Always Sunny’ Cast Drink For Free

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The cast of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia never have to pay their own bar tabs.

According to creator and star Rob McElhenney, the perk of filming a series set in a bar is that you score free drinks at actual bars.

Everytime the Sunny cast is out on the town, they get hooked up at bars by both patrons and bartenders who are fans of the show.

The bar freebies are the best in Philadelphia, where locals take pride in the Philly-centric series.

McElhenney says it’s nice not having to pay for drinks – and even better actually getting to drink.

Despite filming on a bar set, he admits the cast is often too exhausted to really chug on camera, unless they’re doing a drunk scene.

Then, they “sip on a little something” – for their craft, of course.

Sunny airs on FX.
