Just ask Herbert “Flight Time” Lang and Nathaniel “Big Easy” Lofton, who were eliminated from The Amazing Race this past Sunday (Nov. 29).
The Harlem Globetrotters duo say taxi drivers can make or break one’s lead in the race, so they wooed every cabbie, every time.
Flight Time says they’d tell every driver around the world they were “the best” to make them go faster and crack jokes with them.
But their fun didn’t fuel every taxi.
Big Easy recalls a cabbie in Cambodia who ran out of gas in the middle of driving them to their next stop.
Luckily, he knew a shortcut so the detour didn’t matter much.
The extremely tall athletes also learned to ride smart in tiny airplanes and be the first ones to disembark.
The Amazing Race airs Sundays on CBS.
