Weight-Loss Tip: Just Cry

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Non-stop sobbing does a body good.

That’s what Biggest Loser contestant Shay Sorrells found while struggling to drop down from a staggering 476 pounds on the show.

Sorrells, who was eliminated this past Tuesday (Nov. 10), credits her amazing 154-pound weight-loss to lots and lots of crying.

She says, “It was an emotional journey. I probably cried out all the weight in tears. All my workouts were cathartic.”

The tears haven’t stopped for Sorrells, who admits to being scared about continuing to shed pounds.

Fear is something fellow eliminee Daniel Wright understands as the first contestant to return to the show for a second season.

He admits that he was worried about being made a target and struggled with his own food demons.

Coming back paid off, however, since he was able to accomplish more from his workouts having already been through the program.

The Biggest Loser airs Tuesdays on NBC.
