Autistic Man A Human Camera

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Some people take photographs with cameras, but one man takes them with his mind.

Stephen Wiltshire is a British artist who’s known as “The Human Camera” for his uncanny ability to draw entire cityscapes from memory after only seeing them one time.

He once drew a detailed panoramic view of Tokyo after taking a single helicopter ride over the city.

Many chalk up Wiltshire’s artistic genius to the fact that he’s autistic, however, his sister Annette says being gifted “makes no sense at all” to him.

Wiltshire is currently in New York drawing a detailed piece of the city, which he absorbed and memorized via another helicopter ride.

He says he’s always been drawn to the Big Apple because of the skyscrapers, the yellow cabs, and American cops that he grew up watching on TV.

Wiltshire hopes to live in New York someday in a penthouse on Park Avenue designed by him.
