Despite getting voted off The Biggest Loser this past Tuesday (Oct. 20), Dina Mercado is still working her butt off at the gym thanks to her nine-year-old son, who’s become her trainer.
She says, “He comes with me to the gym and is always pushing me. If he sees me take a bite of something I shouldn’t eat he yells at me. He turns up the resistance on the workout machines.”
Mercado thinks it’s funny how much her boy tries to emulate Loser trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper, though, when he gets too tough, she has to remind him that she’s the mom.
She thinks he might have a future career in fitness training, especially since he likes wearing a sign on his shirt that reads “trainer in training.”
The Biggest Loser airs Tuesdays on NBC.
