No Passport, No Race

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One teeny, tiny piece of paper is the source of recurring nightmares for an Amazing Race duo.

Friends Zev Glassenberg and Justin Kanew were disqualified from The Amazing Race this past Sunday (Oct. 11) after accidentally losing Glassenberg’s passport.

They dropped it at a Cambodian temple along the way, but without the travel documents, their trek came to a sudden halt.

Now safely back in America, the pals admit that the passport misfortune still haunts them.

Says Kanew: “Every now and then, I break out into cold sweats at 4 AM just thinking about it.”

To brace themselves for their tragic exit episode, the friends have been texting each other the word “devastation” for weeks.

Watching their fate play out on TV was tough, though Glassenberg calls it a fluke and doesn’t blame his buddy.

Next time they travel, they’ll strap their passports tightly to their bodies.

The Amazing Race airs Sundays on CBS.
