Wedding Chapel On Wheels

SHELBYVILLE, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Couples looking to get hitched fast can now have their wedding on wheels.

Rev. Darrell Best brings folks together in wedded bliss on his Mobile Wedding Chapel, which was converted out of an old fire truck he owned by the specialists on CMT’s Trick My Truck.

The truck has a mini chapel on the rear that Best calls his “mobile ministry” where he holds ceremonies, and says a wedding on wheels is a “unique and fun” way to tie the knot.

He adds, “It’s more lively. People would smile just looking at the truck, let alone the ceremony.”

Though as of now he keeps the mobil chapel parked during weddings, Best is willing to take couples down the open road, but only once he finds another ordained minister willing to perform ceremonies at 55 mph since no one is allowed to drive the truck but him.

In the meantime, keeping the truck parked keeps the bride’s hair from getting windswept.
