So says Randy Thomasson, president of the pro-family organization SaveCalifornia.com, whos currently fighting against having a special day devoted to Harvey Milk in public schools.
His goal is to get Californias SB572 bill for Harvey Milk Gay Day rejected by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, so kids dont have to learn about Milks outlandish deeds.
Thomasson argues that Milks sordid life includes sexually preying on young boys, having multiple lovers at once, and publicly lying about his military experience to further his political career.
He doesnt think Milks immoral behavior should be glorified in schools, and kids as young as kindergarten shouldnt be taught about LGTB sex.
Since Harvey Milk Gay Day would include commemorative exercises, Thomasson fears itll turn into one big gay pride parade on campus, when kids should really be focused on learning.
