White, from the seventh season of Idol, went to beauty school, so she styles herself before each big performance.
When she tours in support of her album High Hopes & Heartbreak this September, White will do all her own beauty treatments on the bus – and then some.
She’s the only woman touring with about 10 dudes, including Idol alum Michael Johns, so she figures she’ll have to do their hair occasionally too.
White likes being her own stylist, mostly because it keeps her from treading into diva territory.
She assures that as of right now, her backstage demands are simple – “room temperature water” and a plug for her curling iron.
White also travels light for a touring singer.
She only brings her iPhone and pillow on the bus because anything else would either “get lost or broken.”
