‘LOST’ Fans Get Piece Of Island

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Not all will be lost once LOST goes off the air next year.

Profiles in History, a Hollywood memorabilia auctioneer, will hold a special LOST auction after the series finale in May 2010 that’ll feature a selection of original props, set pieces, costumes, and collector’s artifacts from the first five seasons of the cult series.

Though the details of the auction are as sketchy as LOST itself, fans can get a sneak preview of the LOST loot today (Jul. 23) through Sunday (Jul. 26) at San Diego Comic-Con.

Goodies that’ll eventually be up for grabs include Kate’s toy plane, Hurley’s winning lottery ticket, Locke’s hunting knife, Sawyer’s letter, Charlie’s guitar, Mr. Eko’s cross necklace and walking stick, Danielle Rousseau’s maps of the island, and Oceanic Flight 815 boarding passes.

Organizers anticipate the auction to be a hit, given the devoted nature of LOST followers.
