Spitting Family Can’t Be Stopped

TUB CITY, Ariz. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A family of pro spitters simply can’t be stopped.

At this past weekend’s (Jul. 4) Cherry Pit Spitting Championships in Eau Claire, Michigan, the unbeatable Krause family retained their crown as the top spitters by winning four out of the five divisions of competition.

Family patriarch Rick “Pellet Gun” Krause took the main title for the 15th time by spitting 48 feet, while his wife won the womens’ division, and his two grandkids took the kids’ divisions.

Krause says he doesn’t know what makes his family so good at spitting but reckons it might be heredity since none of them practice.

Many competitors have their heart’s set on finally ending the family’s reign, and Krause says a few adversaries come back every year to try to “knock” them out.

But they’ll have to wait a while before they have a real shot because “Pellet Gun” has no plans on retiring.

He says, “I’m batting 500 at the moment. I’m gonna be back.”
