Steven Halpern, founding father of relaxation and healing music, is using his tunes to calm frustrated drivers with his album Drive Time Rx.
The newly-released CD embeds subliminal messages within its smooth, jazzy tones that lull enraged drivers into breathing, relaxing, being aware of the cars around them, and to let go of any anger the road gives them.
Halpern made the album to help cure him of his own road rage and says his songs bring people back to a place of calm when theyre stuck in traffic, cut off on the highway, or flipped off by other drivers.
He claims the brain perceives the calming messages and puts commuters in a comforted state, and its proven to make driving less stressful.
