‘Buffy’ Alumna Does ‘Macarena’ For Feedback

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actress Amber Benson will do anything to improve her writing skills – even the “Macarena.”

Benson – formerly of Buffy The Vampire Slayer – has penned a new novel called Death’s Daughter (Penguin) about a girl whose dad is the Grim Reaper.

The book is the first in a trilogy of urban fantasy novels and Benson is dedicated to giving her readers what they want.

She recently asked fans to review her book so she could keep sharpening her writing skills, and promised that if she got 85 reviews, she’d do the “Macarena” on YouTube.

Benson’s fans cooperated, and she went through with it, posting a video of herself singing and dancing the “Macarena” online.

And it’s not just an amateur video.

Her boyfriend, former Buffy co-star Adam Busch and his band play a live rendition of the ’90s dance hit while Benson performs.

She was happy to collaborate with her beau, because unlike their famous scene in Buffy, he doesn’t end up killing her in this production.
