Leisa Naples is a health and fitness expert who encourages busy moms to work out with their toddlers daily.
Naples has two sets of twin daughters ages four and three, and her mini posse works out with her every day doing everything from ballet and walking, to yoga and sit-ups.
She says the key to getting tots to work out is to make exercise fun, so Naples lets her girls dress up in tutus, ride their bikes wearing fairy wings, run through homemade obstacle courses, and dance to the Hannah Montana soundtrack during exercise.
Naples says its healthy to workout with your kids 30 minutes a day about as long as their little attention spans last.
She recommends doing basic routines with kids that include skipping, dancing, and simple stretching, and adding in accessories like hula hoops and shakers to keep them interested.
Mom will get her workout in, and kids will think theyre playing.
