Seattle Named America’s Most Fun City

EAST HANOVER, N.J. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Don’t let the rainy weather and caffeine frenzy fool you. Seattle is officially America’s Most Fun City.

According to the “Ritz Cracker FUNomenal Places Study,” Seattle residents tend to participate in more social activities compared to other cities.

The study evaluated 50 of the largest metro areas in the United States and identified the funniest cities based on outdoor recreation, people’s willingness to spend on fun and in-home entertainment.

Ritz says citizens of the Emerald City spend a good chunk of their income on things that allow them to have a grand ol’ time, like bicycles, movie tickets and musical instruments – which may be why it’s the birthplace of grunge music.

The city’s proximity to forests and parks also makes it the perfect place for outdoor fun.

Seattle edged out New York, San Francisco, and Boston for the title.
