‘Idol’ Reject Does Her Own Thing

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Despite harsh words from judges, American Idol cast-off Lil Rounds knows she kept it real during her stint on the show.

Rounds, who was voted off the reality talent show on Wednesday (Apr. 22), feels the judges were inconsistent with their criticism, telling her to “make songs my own” then panning her delivery.

She explains, “They started going back and forth. One week they’d say one thing and the next they’d flip it and go back on what they said. I didn’t know what I was supposed to do.”

Now that her time on Idol is over, Rounds is looking forward to seeing her husband, three children, and the brand new dog her hubby got for her.

She says, “I’m ready to go home and take my babies and puppy to the park and run around before I go on the American Idol tour.”

Idol airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays on FOX.
