Buck Wolf’s Weird News Central: Sperm Exports Defy Economy

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – America may be tanking in the global economy, but at least we have a stronghold on the sperm business.

The U.S. remains the leader in worldwide sperm exports – a market estimated to be worth between $65-$100 million – and it’s not likely to lose its edge, even with the limp economy.

This week, Buck Wolf of About.com’s Weird News Central looks at why America remains No. 1, even as the country loses ground in other industries.

Not only is the U.S. a leader in health sciences, it also has the fewest restrictions.

Wolf says, “America is the home of the sperm boutique. If you want the sperm of a six-foot blond violinist, you can find it. Other countries have more laws on their bio-banks. They simply don’t allow sperm buyers that much of a selection.”

But what ultimately makes America a great sperm exporter, is what makes it a great country.

Says Wolf: “Since we have all races of people in America, we naturally have the world’s biggest variety of sperm.”
