Arizona Man Addicted To Statues

PHOENIX (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – There’s something about giant statues that makes one man want to give up his living space.

Security guard Don Parks of Phoenix, Arizona, has an addiction to huge statues and he just can’t quit collecting them.

Among the 35 statues that cover the frontyard, roof, backyard, and interior of his home are a 23-foot tall Paul Bunyan, several life-size cowboys on horses, large-scale animals, and a 10-foot hotel bellboy.

Parks says, “It’s definitely an addiction. My biggest problem is that I don’t like selling my junk and I’ve gone overboard collecting it. I literally live in aisle ways in my house. I can’t get into my dining room.”

The avid antique collector says he chose to hoard statues because, “There doesn’t seem to be any interest in them.”

This means he can keep the strange hobby all to himself.

He adds, “I collect something that nobody wants, so they don’t try to buy anything off me.”
