Allan Peterkin is the author of Chill: Discover The Cool (And Creative) Side Of Your Fridge (Kids Can Press), a childrens book filled with fridge facts, including creative ways kids can use the fridge to their advantage.
According to Peterkin, any kid can score a puppy or new toy if they cleverly place subliminal hints on the door of their fridge.
For instance, if they want a new dog, placing pictures of cute puppies, breeder ads, and magnetic captions like pets teach responsibility could sway parents.
Peterkin says this cool tactic worked for him as a child and he was able to convince his parents to buy him a beagle.
Since the average person visits the fridge 11 times a day, Peterkin says whatever hangs on it, including art, cant be missed.
He says, The fridge is a familys center of the universe. Everything on it gives you an idea of what theyre like.
Chill hits shelves this March.
