Jeff Conaway: ‘I’m Not A Flake’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Although actor Jeff Conaway was incoherent on Celebrity Rehab, he insists he’s not a flake.

Conaway, best known for his roles on Taxi and Grease, recently faced his substance addiction on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab, and though he was scatterbrained on the show, he assures, “I’m no flake.”

The now-sober Conaway attributes his loopy behavior to addiction and severe back pain and boasts, “I’m getting better every day” with the help of life coach Johnny Wimbrey.

However, Conaway admits that when he was using, a flaky moment for him was kicking girlfriend Vikki Lizzi while the Celebrity Rehab cameras were rolling.

He says, “I don’t make a habit out of hitting women.”

Lizzi chimes in and jokes, “Yeah, he only pulls knives out on me now.”

Now that Conaway’s life is back on track, the wisecracking duo have a new album out called Saints and Sinners.

Lizzi says seeing Conaway play music again is a “miracle” and gushes, “He’s still as sexy as he was in ’79.”
